There are pests and parasites that can leach the nutrients from trees and drain the trees health. However, certain insects are beneficial for your tree. Ladybugs, for instance, feed on those pests that are harmful for your tree. In fact, some arborists employ good insects to fight off bad ones rather than use chemicals.

Healthy Looking Trees Wont Fall

There is more to a trees sturdiness than the color of its leaves. Even if the tree is healthy, no tree is 100% safe from falling over. Most trees that fall typically have root structure issues that are difficult to spot with the naked eye for an average person. That is why it is important to have your tree periodically examined by an arborist.

Water Your Tree as Much as You Can

Customer Reviews

Noel and his team at Sesmas Tree Service are extremely professional, do quality work, and are available when you need them. I have been using them for the past year and have never been disappointed with any service they have provided. Noel is the first person I call when I need any tree work done!

Matthew Keheley

I absolutely love the work ethic displayed by Sesmas employees. They work hard and fast! My property looks amazing! This is the second time in 5 years that I have used their services and customer satisfaction is still at the top of their list.

Evita Fikes

Sesmas did a terrific job for us on a project completed today involving the removal of 18 problem trees. Project was completed exactly as promised, skillfully and for a reasonable price. Mike Fowler was excellent in overseeing the work and his crew was outstanding. Highly recommend!

Kathryn Arvidson

These guys were on point. Verified the request before beginning (always good, because the trees aren't coming back!). Then made sure the trimming was done to exactly where I wanted it. On time, fast, and completely cleaned up after - was a great experience. Highly recommend!

Josh Pitchford

Water is an essential factor for your trees health. Droughts can cause your tree to wither, but too much of anything is a bad thing. Watering your tree too much can cause root rot and bring your tree down sooner than expected. Watering once a week, deep and slow, is better than daily watering.

Paint Pruning Cuts with A Tree Seal

Many people like to paint pruning cuts greater than three inches in diameter with a tree seal. However, research has shown that tree seals do not provide much benefit. They do not inhibit decay or insect invasion. In fact, many common sealers slow wound closure.

Anyone Who Deals with Trees Is an Arborist

There are many untrained and certified tree service providers that pass themselves off as arborists. An arborist, specifically an ISA-certified arborist, has passed extensive examination in arboriculture and uses standards to properly complete tree work. They have received education in arboriculture and techniques for how to best address tree care. Visit the ISA website to find yourself a certified arborist or call Sesmas Tree Service to schedule an appointment with one of our ISA-certified arborists.

Dead Branches Will Come Down on Their Own

Sure, dead branches will eventually fall on their own, but it is very likely that the branch will cause damage on its way down. As the tree owner, you are responsible for any damage that could have been avoided. Dying or dead branches are unsafe and should be removed as soon as possible.
